3. Freight Services
Continental Cargo LLC provides motor carrier freight transportation services across the continental United States, subject to our operating authority (MC 1511200 · USDOT 4012502). Service availability, equipment type, routing, and scheduling are determined at our discretion based on operational capacity and applicable regulations.
Quotes and rate estimates provided through our website or dispatch team are not binding contracts until confirmed in writing through an accepted rate confirmation, bill of lading, or other executed agreement.
4. Customer Responsibilities
As a shipper or customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate shipment details, including weight, dimensions, commodity type, and special handling requirements
- Ensure cargo is properly packaged, labeled, sealed, and ready at the scheduled pickup time and location
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding the goods being transported, including hazardous materials regulations where applicable
- Disclose any high-value, fragile, perishable, or restricted cargo prior to booking
- Make freight available for pickup and provide safe, reasonable access for drivers and equipment
- Pay invoices according to agreed payment terms
5. Quotes, Rates & Payment
Rates are based on information provided at the time of quoting. Additional charges may apply for accessorial services, detention, layover, re-delivery, fuel surcharges, or changes to shipment details not disclosed at booking.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due per the payment terms stated on the invoice or rate confirmation. Late payments may incur fees, collection costs, and may affect eligibility for future service.
6. Transit Times & Service Performance
Estimated transit times are provided for planning purposes only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a written agreement. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, regulatory requirements, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Limitation of Liability
Continental Cargo LLC's liability for loss or damage to cargo is governed by the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. § 14706), applicable federal motor carrier regulations, and any contract of carriage in effect for the shipment. Claims must be filed in accordance with applicable law and our claims procedures.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Continental Cargo LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of this website or our services.
8. Claims & Cargo Loss
Any claim for loss, damage, or delay must be submitted promptly in writing with supporting documentation. Concealed damage claims must be reported within applicable timeframes. Failure to comply with notice requirements may limit or bar recovery.
9. Prohibited & Restricted Cargo
We reserve the right to refuse any shipment that is illegal, improperly documented, inadequately packaged, or poses a safety risk. Hazardous materials may only be transported when properly classified, documented, and pre-approved in writing.
10. Communications & SMS
By providing your phone number, you may receive operational communications related to dispatch, shipment status, and customer support. SMS terms are described in our Privacy Policy. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Continental Cargo LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute site content without prior written permission.
